Short-Season Ultimate Spring League 2011
Due to the overwhelming support of our veteran players and the interest of dozens of new players, we are having a Short Season Ultimate Spring League, running for 4 weeks in April 2011. Here is the vital info:
**Short Season Ultimate Spring League will have a total of 4 TEAMS and will be CAPPED at 56 Players. Only the 1st 56 players to sign-up AND fill out a COMPLETE PROFILE on the website by March 28th will be eligible to be drafted and play.**
COST:
$20 per person
DATES:
* 4 Weeks - April 4th, April 11th, April 18th and April 25th (Monday Nights)
FIELD SITE:
Annunciation Square, located at 800 Race St., next to the Saulet Aparment Complex. The field has lights and is maintained by NORD.
TIMES AND GAME FORMAT:
* Each of the 4 Spring League teams will play 2 games per night.
* Games will be played to 11 or until the 70 minute time cap expires.
* The 1st round of games begins promptly at 6:30 PM, and the 2nd round begins at 8:00 PM. There will be a 15
minute break between games.
SHORT SEASON SPRING LEAGUE CHAMPION:
The Short Season Spring League Championship will be awarded to the team with the best season record. In the event that two (2) or more teams are tied for 1st place with identical records, tie-breakers will be used to determine the league champion.
POST-GAME PARTIES:
Be sure to come to our post-game parties at at the field. Beer and food will be available to all league members. This is a great opportunity to relive the glory (or heartbreak) of the evening's games as well as a chance to get to know your teammates.
